Biography

Roxana Amaral is an educator by trade and passion. She has spent her career working in various arms of the education sector including social work, public school education, union staff development & apprenticeship, and now is co-leading the education equity non-profit, BELONG Partners. BELONG stands for Building Equitable Learning Opportunities and Nurturing Growth.

She is driven by the deeply seeded belief that every human being deserves respect and dignity, and further, that people thrive when they have a sense of belonging and significance. Roxana’s vision is to bring respect, dignity, belonging, and significance to all people in an education setting: students, educators, leadership, and the like. She provides social and emotional learning to create sustainable change within schools and organizations while helping individuals build their toolbox for deep connection.
