Biography

Christine is a fusion space systems engineer and project manager at Avalanche Energy, where she works on developing fusion energy devices for microgrids. As an advanced systems design engineer, she focuses on bringing low maturity, interdisciplinary technologies into operation to make science fiction real.

At Blue Origin, she led design and test campaigns as the responsible engineer for the Blue Moon lunar lander hydrogen fuel cell generator. She also developed rocket and spacecraft chemical and electric propulsion systems at Virgin Orbit and The Aerospace Corporation. Christine earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
